"I started martial arts at the end of 2000,
at age 13, studying at the only Ju Jitsu like
club I could find, which happened to be in
Longton (25 miles away). Early the following
year a friend mentioned he was starting at
a Ju Jitsu club across the road from where
I lived. Lucky huh? This happened to be Kaeshi
Ryu. Since then I've been a member of the
club (apart from some down time due to injuries).
I've also branched out and tried other arts
in the area, including a few years Thai Boxing.
These days I teach Ju Jitsu in Stafford, and
train/compete in No Gi Submission Grappling.
In between
teaching and fighting, I'm also a bassist
and singer in a local band, photographer,
cyclist, swimmer and runner (fitness freak)."
