"After
much pestering I started taking my 2 sons
to junior Jujitsu classes about 13 years ago,
and would sit doing my University assignments
while they would be training. When the time
eventually came for them to move up to the
senior class, approximately 8 years ago, I
was talked into joining them. Being the oldest
of the current Sensei’s I gained my
1st Dan at the ripe old age of 45, which only
goes to show that you are “never too
old”.
Prior to Jujitsu I have
been an amateur boxer and did a short spell
of Shotokan Karate.
My hobbies include trying
to ride my Honda Fireblade like I know what
I am doing, and not getting beaten up too
much by my fellow Sensei’s."
