Welcome to the web site of Kaeshi Ryu Jujitsu Academy. Kaeshi Ryu roughly translates to "counter action style". This is the basis of all the techniques taught within the club. We are a self defence variant on one of the oldest Martial Arts in the world.

From defending against punches and kicks, to hair grabs and weapons, we teach effective techniques in a safe environment. This does not mean we ignore our roots in favour of creating a "modern" Martial Art. The club teaches many of the traditions of Jujitsu, including discipline and yielding to gain the advantage.

Kaeshi Ryu currently has 5 clubs, teaching out of Staffordshire. Two at Stoke-on-Trent's Tollgate Hotel, one at Stafford's Beaconside Sports Centre, one at Stafford's Sports Arena, and the newest addition at Penkridge Leisure Centre.
